Ratatouille Party

A short time ago, Britlyn and I had a little but of a Ratatouille party.  We had a few guests over, watched Ratatouille, and every time Remy made a dish in the movie, we paused the movie and brought out our version of that dish.  It's something I've been wanting to do for a while and it was very nice of Britlyn to do it with me.  It took about a day and a half of preparation but was a lot of fun.  I wasn't pulled together enough to take pictures myself, but one of our guests did.  With a cellphone and very little light so hopefully you'll pretend the dishes look a lot better than the pictures, but she very nicely sent the pictures so beggars can't be choosers.

Course One:
Baked mushrooms with Gruyère and rosemary

Course Two:

Creamy Leek Soup with a spoonful of whipped cream and toasted baguette(ish bread)

Course Three:
Couscous simmered with vegetables and a fruit/vinaigrette reduction topped with raspberries

Course Four:

Ratatouille (this one we actually used a recipe, it's pretty easy to find the recipe from the movie)
